ABOUT ME

I am a Doctoral Candidate in Cognitive and Behavioral Sciences in Auburn University's Department of Psychology, working under the general direction of Dr. Jennifer L. Robinson in the Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience Laboratory. I have received extensive exposure to the pragmatics of meta-analytic strategies for neuroimaging data. In addition, I have been trained in more traditional (3T) and high-field (7T) functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI) data acquisition and analysis, including resting-state functional connectivity and advanced network analysis techniques. Finally, my most recent training involves in vivo neural metabolite quantitation via magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS), with an emphasis in assessing task-related neurotransmitter concentration changes.

As recruiter/scheduler/operator for the Auburn University MRI Research Center, my main responsibilities included recruiting and maintaining a representative participant pool, scheduling scanning sessions associated with various extramural and intramural projects, and operating the Center’s research-dedicated Siemens Magnetom 7T scanner and partial-research-dedicated Siemens Verio 3T scanner. Through these efforts, I have accumulated more than 1,250 hours in scanner-operating time.
